BUZZZ Editorial and Disclosure Policy

BUZZZ is a Curated Press Guild: a free Editorial membership whose benefit is genuine coverage. This page explains how that coverage is decided, written and labeled, so readers, members and search engines can trust it.
Who writes the coverage
All coverage of BUZZZ members is written, edited and published by BUZZZ and the BUZZZ publishers listed at buzzzweb.com/publishers, which are created by Cara Coley. Members do not write articles, do not pay for coverage, and do not approve articles before they are published.
Every onboarding feature is reviewed and approved by an editor before publication, and every article follows the same standards below.
Our standards
- Real, verified facts. Every factual claim is traceable to a source we link. Information supplied by a member is attributed to them or independently verified.
- Our own words. We do not republish press releases or member-written text. Quotes are short and attributed.
- Relevance first. A member is mentioned only when a story genuinely relates to their work. There are no link lists, sponsored boxes or automatic insertions.
- Corrections. Anyone may report an error to BUZZZ@buzzzweb.com. We review every report and correct genuine errors promptly, noting significant corrections on the article.
- Health, finance and children. Health coverage relies on primary sources and is general information, not medical advice. Licensed professions are covered only when properly licensed. Coverage relating to children is written for parents and never includes children's photos, schools, locations or schedules.
- Images. Article illustrations are original artwork that never depicts real, identifiable people. A member's own portrait appears only on that member's page on buzzzweb.com, with their consent.
How we label the relationship
Readers deserve to know when a relationship exists.

The BUZZZ badge
Members and BUZZZ publishers display a small BUZZZ link in their website footers. It links to BUZZZ with a "nofollow" attribute: it identifies membership, it is not a ranking arrangement.
What BUZZZ is not
BUZZZ does not sell links, coverage, placement or rankings. It is not advertising, affiliate marketing, a referral program, a private blog network or a lead-generation service. Optional paid website services are offered separately and never affect admission or coverage.
